1. What's New?

  • Zero Configuration for Local Access

Bye, bye nginx conf files. If you just want to access your antlets from within your local network, we have now made everything automatic. Just create an antlet, log in via ssh, install your web software (e.g. apt-get install apache2), enter antlet10.local in your browser and voilá, you're up and running!
Note that in order to access your antlets from outside your local network, you still have to do some manual work. Stay tuned for future updates.
  • Improved Port Assignments

We moved antman out of your way. Access antman now under http://myantsle.local:3000. Port 80 is now free for whatever you create in your antlets! nginx (rather than antman) now uses port 80, forwarding traffic to any antlet you choose. Access your antlets by domain name rather than by port number.
  • New System Service antletsl

We've added a new system service named antletsl, for your antlets' local access. The new service publishes names like antlet88.local via mDNS. We use that as a zeroconf facility: no need to mess around with DNS servers etc.
